Create a Barcode in Excel in 30 seconds 🤯

Want to create a scannable bar code in Excel? This can be an awesome feature for spreadsheets related to inventory management, procurement, warehousing, etc.,
Here's how!
1. Add your unique identifier or Part No. with the star symbol before the first and after the last letter.
2. Drag your formula down for all cells you want to create a unique bar code for.
3. Select Font CCode39. You can get this font at dafont.com
4. You can now use bar codes to help manage inventory, logistics, and warehousing.

Yes, you can create an unlimited quantity based on the unique part number with a maximum of 21 digits

i was also thinking the exact same thing for my university library because every time during entry and exit we have to write 2-3 details twice in the registers. It sucks . I just wanted that they scan the bar code on our ID cards and VOILA!

I think a clock-in/clock-out system would be better for that. Barcodes are just for ringing up products or adjusting product inventory on hand.

It can work to identify unique items (or unique part numbers) then you can connect this unique part number to a database. You can apply it on DL barcode to publish a unique barcode and connect to the related database.
