yes, I can smell colors, especially orange in fall. smells like pumpkin pie, lol.
@jdyerjdyerАй бұрын
Hear and feel colors, too. The crackle of fire, the warmth of it on a cold day, the tinkling of fine snow against the limbs of trees and that slight cold burn from the wind. Also, lmao @ hyper diaper. I don't have kids of my own, but I've helped with enough to know those two words should NEVER be uttered together!

You gotta make more of this art videos. It totally helps us programmers understand more about arts.

I think you've found a winning mix between Bob Ross aesthetic, Tiny Glade, and Thomas Brush. I'm all here for it.

These cartoon styles on unity really are very indie developer friendly. i see why you recommend it as a good choice

I feel like you're getting back to a more authentic Thomas Brush, which has been missing a bit for a while. Always been a fan of you're work and support the grind you were doing, but there is something special here again.

@@ArksideGames Yeah, sure. Go ahead and use Photoshop instead of Substance. It's not like Substance was designed for this purpose alone or anything.

I love these art focus videos!!! Especially the 3d, doing it the "wrong way" is how you get unique style in my opinion and if done well helps your game stand out in a positive way. This scene came out really gorgeous and screams your 2d style in 3d, really cool to see the new skill set from your work on twisted tower!

Thomas, for some reason, I find it that I am more inclined to watch your videos about game development marketing. I guess I could use these videos when I start making games with levels. Keep up with the good work!

Love this, would love more of these. As someone with zero art skills, I struggle with art style and art direction. Finding or making assets that follow the art you start with. I noticed you glossed over a very important thing with your character controller in the scene when you were scaling the trees. Perspective matters from within the game view. I realized arbitrary measurements can be enormous or too tiny.

Damn man! I love this! Sometimes I just need people to give me a way to start. I just finished a class at UMGC that took me through the basics but this helps me a lot. Thanks dude!
