As a software engineer this was an interesting watch. I can see how AI would be powerful for people who don't understand how to write code, but the AI will only return results as good as your prompt is, so you need to be really specific. Prompt engineering is a whole different domain though. Manim looks like a cool library, and a lot of the errors you ran into could have been fixed easily with some basic coding knowledge, Bog.

AI can only get you code that was common in its dataset so if you don't know how to code and want to create something novel no amount of prompting will get you to the solution. If you don't intend on getting too deep into programming then AI will suffice so it does have its use cases as bog showed but I doubt it could create for example the most recent animation in 3b1b's video about Quaternions.

@@expired___milk It can code novel things just fine, I'm not sure where you took it from. You'll have more issues when it comes to adjusting small details and being very specific than it creating something for the first time - not that 99% people will even come up with something completely new.
