Create a Gradient Logo in Illustrator Tutorial

To avoid the awkward repositioning, copy the colored and black shapes together, delete the black shape, paste the two together in front, rotate together by 180 degrees, then delete the new black shape. Great tutorial.

If you use the Eyedropper tool on that second shape you deleted, it should paint the same gradient without having it erased, copied and pasted :)

Instead of the 64000%x zoom, just don't delete the bottom wedge. After rotating the modified wedge it snaps tp the bottom wedge. Then you can delete it from layers panel.
