Will this countdown timer work in Restream?
@BradleyTeaches2 жыл бұрын
This is the animation portion, not the numbers, so it won’t work in RS because it doesn’t have a “clock”. I do have another tutorial for making a countdown timer w/ canva that will work in RS. It’s actually a RS branded video, look for it in the playlist.

Great channel! Is there a way to make a transparent countdown timer so that the viewers can get kind of a bts look?
@BradleyTeaches3 жыл бұрын
Yes, but it depends on the streaming app. ECamm has a timer overlay and that ‘text’ combined w/ a countdown overlay w/ transparency will do exactly what you’re asking. Look for my countdown tutorials for more details. If you’re not using eCamm, if your app has a countdown clock feature and can accept transparent animations you’re good to go.

Amazing - how do you get the actual number countdown to work and be accurate 10...9...8..7..
@BradleyTeaches3 жыл бұрын
+Rob Galvin I use eCamm (it’s Mac only) and add a countdown timer text overlay. When you say be accurate do you mean based on the animation? I don’t really worry about that part, LOL. But you can do the animation so it “spins” at whatever speed you need. I then bring that animation into eCamm, set it to loop, then add my timer overlay and set the criteria to “go to next scene when completed”. Doing that will make the animation stop so it doesn’t matter how long it is compared to the timer I add. Hope that answers your question.

I'm having an issue that I need help with. I have a 45 second timer on a group of about 20 slides. I'm unable to skip to the next slide without letting the timer run all the way to 0, but I need the ability to jump to the next slide if needed, without using up all the time on the timer. Is this possible? If so, how..?
@BradleyTeaches2 ай бұрын
+@CoachRedmon this video is for the animation portion of a timer, not the “numbers”, being able to jump to the next slide/scene is dependent on the steaming software you’re using (or whatever app you added the animation to). Please give me more details.

@ I purchased a timer app in the App Store for $17 and I’m all set now.

Where's the countdown??

This is the animation portion, the timer has to be added in your live streaming of video editing app.
