Excellent video, thanks. A question - you use autoplay>loop in Ecamm to get your overlay to loop. I can't see how to do this ...can you help?
@BradleyTeaches3 жыл бұрын
When you load your overlay and 'eyeball' it on, it will start playing. When the overlay is on screen, mouse over it and you'll see a control panel pop up at the bottom; it will have a play button a 'line' and a triangle at the end, click that triangle and select "loop" then you're good to go.

Bradley. Excellent tutorials , I am loking for video album making , where you can have few viideo files each 5-6 minutes on one page , that can be played by selecting individual video I would really appreciate if you could advice on this,perhaps a tutorial. Thanks to your splendid tutorials

It seems like you're speaking more of videos on a webpage than w/i another video presentation... If I'm correct, what you want can be accomplished by embedding your selected videos into your page and each will have a 'play' button that would activate the video on click.

a few questions. 1-what font did you use for the text and timer, 2-how do you get text on 2 lines ("starts in" was on a 2nd line), 3-how do you change text color in ecamm
@BradleyTeaches4 жыл бұрын
Seabrook SDA Church I apologize, your comment got by me. 1. I’ll have to check, but I use ‘futura’ a lot, so that’s likely it. 2. Shift-click “return” will make the text jump to a second line, you can also just make a second text box and stack them. 3. To change color, moist over the text and click the ‘pencil’ icon or double-click on the text to go back to the edit screen. You should see a color wheel near the bottom of the editing window. You can also add a shadow, a background box, change opacity and more from that interface. If you have any more questions please let me know.

HI Bradley, Greetings from Germany! does it work with an image instead of the blue "background" as well? So import 16:9 .png from the desktop. Example an holiday house and than cut out a transparent ring in the middle... How can I do that?
@BradleyTeaches4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can do it with an image. In keynote you 'fill' a shape w/ the image you want then add a circle shape where you want the cutout. Go to the "format" dropdown, then 'shapes and lines/subtract shapes'. This will allow you to cut a hole in an image you import into keynote.
@frederikmenke4 жыл бұрын
Bradley Teaches thanks Bradley, it works :-)
@BradleyTeaches4 жыл бұрын
Frederik Menke awesome! Glad I could help.
@BradleyTeaches3 жыл бұрын
Yes! You can cut a hole in an image, but it’s a bit of a workaround. First do an ‘image fill’ on a shape with your chosen image, then draw your second shape and subtract it from the first shape. Cutting a hole in the shape (with an image fill) cuts a hole in the image.

Hey Bradely thankyou for this video. When i go to export on the custom settings the transparent checkbox is not there so the video exports without transparent inner circle
@BradleyTeaches3 жыл бұрын
Hello! Make sure you pick "Apple ProRes4444" first, that's the format that allows for transparency. Depending on your version of Keynote, it may be in the "custom" dropdown when picking compression type/format.

Me Bradley, I’ve been using Zoom a lot and now I’m trying out Ecamm. Do you know how to bring in chats from Zoom when live? Thanks

The only way I can think of to bring in zoom chats is to do a screen share of them into eCamm, there’s no way to bring them in like native eCamm comments that I am aware of.

@@BradleyTeaches thanks! I sure will. Would love a tutorial on text overlays. Had something happen today that I couldn't figure out. I changed a text overlay on one scene and somehow the same text overlay shows up on every other scene I select; even on scenes in an entirely different folder! Do you have any idea why that would happen?
@BradleyTeaches4 жыл бұрын
@@AlJennings I'll get a text overlay tutorial in the queue. The problem you're having w/ the overlay showing up on everything is because in the overlay window there are two sections- "show in all scenes" and "show in current scene", you placed your overlay in the upper-most area which is the "show in all scenes" section.
