I'm using Qgis version 2.0.1. When I try to create a new polygon shapefile the imagem that is formed is not transparent like in the video (in version 1.7.4). Do you know how can I fix it?

also...I try to create an alias in my shapefile for lone field names and sometimes it will save and sometimes it won't. then sometimes it appears to save the alias field name but when I remove the shapefile and call it back in there are not there. what gives? this is very frustrating. Great program if I can get this one thing to work.
