Great video. I've gotten very dark in my own head about all this too. I think the ai essay writing kinda encapsulates it, this strive to "coast by" as much as possible. Because people aren't using it to have free time to see the world, they're using it to have free time to vibe and sleep and cope with the grim reality of corporate america right now. Not to sound too apocalyptic, of course. It just feels like everything is so directionless right now, and we're at the top of a cultural death spiral.
