I gotta tell you, I fancy myself pretty darn proficient in Photoshop. I watch your videos and I already know 98% of what you are teaching but every single damn video of your I watch there’s always 1 or 2 little techniques that make me sit up in my chair that blow my mind with how brilliant they are.

Nice! I find it odd to do the LUT so late in the process, since I feel like you pretty much already created your own LUT throughout the process. Is there an advantage to do it later rather than right at the beginning?
@kekitus4902 жыл бұрын
I feel like this is two different ways of looking at the color lookup table altogether, either it is used in the beginning in order to reach the effect, or at the end to add a final touch. The only reason I can think of for doing it at the end is that it allows you to go back on your decision easier if you change your mind later on. If you add a lookup table right from the start, you're going to base off all of your effect on "the image + the LUT", so it pretty much becomes "part of the effect". So if you end up changing your mind then you need to readjust all of your effect accordingly. While adding the LUT at the end just adds a "final touch" that you can adjust accordingly or take off if you think it is too much after all.

I have a very big question and if you see this comment please explain if it's possible to color correct a photo in 20 points like on every shades of grey (5%, 10%, 15%… 90%, 95% 100%) and if it's very effective. P.S: All I just saying is if that we create a layer for every point so it will be 20 layer of color correcting.
