Thank you my friend! The trim thing I’ve seen once or twice. I think sometimes it happens when using copy protected loops from Media bay. There’s an easy solution: import the loop in your project and then go Audio>bounce . Then make it a sampler track and the trim option will be there ;)

Another really interesting and helpful video Dom - thankyou! Here's a question/ challenge for you: like you I'm a long time cubase fan but also I'm an occasional ableton tinkerer. The one thing I think ableton offers that is superb is Session view - it's so good for quickly pulling together clips of different lengths and experimenting with arrangement ideas. If you had to create something similar using only Cubase 11, how would you go about it? And how successful do you think you'd be?

media bay and musical mode is magic..i used to be the same way until i found out that all my samples will auto sync to the timeline if i drag them in with auto align selected already. works wonders
