Disclaimer: This video was supposed to be a positive, hopeful & exciting outlook at the possibilities & where the technology is heading, it was supposed to excite people that want to create visuals for their songs to enhance the experience of their music & ultimately create an awesome experience & have fun doing it, so all comments are now moderated & none of the crying or drama or complaining that poisons that outlook will be accepted. If you're an AI hater go write a letter to Santa saying how you want the technology to stop progressing & how harmful it is blah blah blah. None of that matters here, it's all about getting excited with the new tools & having lots of fun playing with them 😉

I still think having a real person make something just adds so much. It’s a good shortcut but just doesn’t have the raw human touch that makes most visualizers have that deep connection to the music

Be on a lookout for Veo2, which is better than Sora, but Sora kills it as of now. It may be unavailable in your country, but if so then just use a VPN 😉

all the cry babies against AI are artists who don't release music and feel better about themselves for "being for the artist" or "For the environment" who u foolin?.... listen it's all about the music... and when you're a 1 person DIY artist/producer... all the time gets put into the music and BIZ... and guess what? a few years ago 3d animators and 3d cover art deisgners were charging A TON plus even had to buy their cover art off cypto sites where it was "bidded on" I went through that where I was paying $500-$1,000 for cover art. and then $2K for a video... because I only thought 3d stuff could be made that way... I LOVE AI!!!!

@@Oversampled i cant wait for ai generating music to become main stream, and for yall to find it harder and harder to find work because your so moronically short sighted. You deserve the cactus your sitting on.

I find it hilarious how all the braindead ai haters just regurgitate the same exact nonsense talking points they read online without any actual critical thinking. Almost exactly like the ai they claim to hate lmao

I don't understand this weird hatred for AI. It's one thing to use it to straight up steal other artists' styles and make money off of it, it's another to just use it for the visuals of music you made, which is the actual main focus. It's not as if people aren't already listening to AI generated music regularly on Spotify and random YT channels and playlists. All I see is praise for them, and people can't even tell the difference These are great tools for just _having_ budget visuals to go with your music that are somewhat decent to look at. Better than having a static PNG for your YT upload, that's for sure

@@ascended8174 if you can't understand why an artist would feel a way about their craft being reduced to a microwaveable, stolen version of itself maybe you aren't meant for this field. Art is supposed to reflect a part of yourself and if you need a machine to do the hard work for you then you aren't really expressing anything. You're a glorified curator at that point but your collection is made up of stolen work that's been fed through a digital woodchipper then glued back together; all the while you drain water and burn trees to do it. The negatives far outweigh the positives for GenAI but it seems that in the eyes of a few of you, that doesn't matter. You just want everything boiled down to "efficiency" all while you remove any sense of humanity from our art forms. Art is not math or science or a quarterly budget. It shouldn't seek to only be optimized for the sake of profit motive.

You make it sound like people willing listen to AI generated music when you know well most of the time it isn’t disclosed as such. No one willing goes, “Hmmm I wonder how many AI generated songs are on my AI Spotify playlist?”

@redstonaspt In the long term, once you've made significant enough income you can choose to hire artists if you believe they get better results, but these AI video tools are obviously for people on a budget or don't make anything from their music directly. Oversampled is simply sharing something he found cool, useful and cheap with us. He's not advertising that "You can be an amazing video creator and editor" with them. It's just to have _something_ for visuals. It's okay to have this option for making visuals when they're not the main focus. It's like taking an Uber to a job interview and trying to give your portfolio, but they turn you down cus you didn't drive yourself in a manual through traffic, so "you must not be passionate enough about the job". AI is just a tool. This unjustified hate boner for _anything_ involving it is so overblown, regardless of the context it is used in, regardless if its use is transparent and reasonable

@@ImMetalMechanika And how many of those playlists do you ever wonder "Damn, how many of these canvases are AI generated?". Who cares, you're there for the music, not the visuals. They're just a bonus anyway

Everyone is such a crybaby about AI use these days. Holy fuck who cares. You’re not going to make AI go away by putting your head in the sand and pretending it doesn’t exist.

Still not sure about AI videos. I tried uploading a few new songs (because im literally broke as a musician) with AI thumbnails but I lost some fans, some of them really hated it. Now im spending some time to learn blender, You have to understand that for now using AI can be risky and some people will aggressively hate your songs without even listening to your songs.

I know, look at the comments under this video, it just got posted! I'm not really making this for haters, nor I'm gonna live my life for them. They will be there, but just keep doing your thing and let people who don't follow fall away. I love AI art, it's super helpful and gets my vision exactly how I want it, it's fun too, makes me happy to have access to it and all these crybabies are just trying to take all the fun away. If you're happy and excited about something don't let that get destroyed, just cause someone says something ;) If you like it, even more, love it, that's all you need. I've no idea where these people take their arguments from, but they make zero sense. I thought about learning UE too, but at this moment it makes no sense, just wait a year or two and put your time into something else, cause AI will pop up with video or image generation and that learning time will get wasted (speaking to myself).

@@Oversampledim glad you've got your point straight cause i always loved your videos and i think you are such a talented musician as well. Keep up with your works! I wish someday people can understand that AI can be good tool just like DAWs and all the other digital softwares have been. I still remember when engineers used to say that DAWs can not make real music back in 90s. But kids, since then, have made so many good works with computers. I also think AI can be something like that as well.

I feel this way too. I used an AI image for the background visualizer for my last song and it didn't really get much attention. Tbh the song itself wasn't the best even though I was extremely proud of it (my mixing is straight ass) so that's probably why I didn't get much attention from it aside from a song critique Livestream, but even using the image gave me this sorta "this doesn't exactly feel morally ok" vibe...
