I just went through your neon light brush tutorial as my first brush tutorial. I do love your teaching technique. The pace is perfect and so easy to follow……except for ONE teeny tiny thing. You use percentages which is more of a trial and error thing with me. If you could just use actual numbers such as page size (3000x3000 px?) and shape sizing would be nice. BTW, my brush came out good; not great - but good. Again, it was my first. I’ll give it another go. Thank you for sharing these. You really are amazing!

HI there! Glad I could help. You can use the same brush studio settings of this brush but make your brush shape a flat rectangle with aglow around it instead and that should give you the look you want. Lemme know how it goes, okay?

hey :) absolutely love this tutorial! One question, my color in the middle even if its on white, doesn’t look that sharp

Hi Rachel. Hmmm, I don't think I get what you mean, but if you're referring to the color in the middle of each stroke, it's supposed to be white as neon tubes have that white hot center. If you're interested in a pure color glow stroke, may I suggest the GLOW BRUSH? :)

If it's on the same layer, it will move the whole thing. Make each shape element in its own layer and it would be easier to make adjustments. :)

I made your fabulous brush today. At first, more white and just a tiny bit of color was showing. Once I adjusted the size and opacity of the brush it worked well. I tested it like you did and your test showed color, I had to do these adjustments so, I’m not sure if I did something wrong. ❤

When I go to resize the circle it highlights the entire box not the circle I drew? How do I get it to highlight just the circle?

If your circle is on a separate layer, there would be no problem resizing it. :)

Hi. I followed all the steps. It created the neon brush but it won't color. What can I be missing? Okay. Figure it out. The rendering is to low.

Hmmm, that is a pickle. Try duplicating the brush shape you created to raise the opacity (maybe it's too low) of the shape and paste that into your shape image.
