No jokes this is the best thing I've ever seen. I'm sick to this kind of perfectness. For sure gonna make to my Velka3 clone with a new gpu+cpu rebuild. The biggest problem is that I've got non-modular 400w powersupply without 8pin gpu, but hopefully will figure out how to do that too. Thank you man. Much love for this perfect job ♥

Thank you. You can turn your psu to modular by soldering modular pcb which can be found on ali or taobao.

@@RelaxingSFF I've seen some other KZbinrs add them as captions, so that the people who need it/like it can add them and leaves the video with the "clean" look Also caption size/color and font can be personalized by the user for readability for people with disability, so that you don't have to deal with the "how big/bold do I do the caption?" Question You could add a "make sure to check the caption of this video" message in the beginning!

Awesome. I'm a little worried about the stresses but I'm sure it's fine, especially since this is only being done once. This had me thinking, what if you 3D-printed some molds you could just lay the wires on, and have a perfect shape as a result :) Way more time and effort, but since this is already taking it to extremes, I figure why not take it further haha
@RelaxingSFF2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, your idea is great and I will try to make a 3d printed frame. Can you name a software to design a 3d model for printer? Have no experience with that.
@F1fanatic212 жыл бұрын
@@RelaxingSFF Fusion 360 to design the model. Then export your model as a .3mf or .STL file (I prefer .3mf) and open that file with Ultimaker Cura. Then slice the model in Cura and generate a .gcode file for your printer. That's my workflow, except because I'm a student I have access to SOLIDWORKS so I don't use Fusion 360--but I used to

Awesome guide - just be careful doing this to power extension cords ; they have minimum bend radius' to prevent fire , you can look these up based on the thickness of the wire gauge, but sharp bends in wire can heat themselves to the point of 🔥

Did you modify that Black Ridge cooler to make it taller? I swear that the gap between the bottom of the heatsink and the cold plate on mine looks a bit slimmer than yours. Did you wedge it apart slightly to make more room for your fan spacer?

I'll be honest I have absolutely no idea why you opened up the back of the fan to... re-solder wires that were already soldered? I appreciate the video and the end result looks great, but I'm fuzzy on some of the "why" in this. ...Oh, you removed the original cable and replaced it with the one you fabbed. Took me a second. But why not just mod the cable already attached to the fan? Is it just too cumbersome?
@RelaxingSFF2 жыл бұрын
Because the original wires are only 2cm long. Now I see why I didn't mod the original cable and never had that idea before. I always buy noctua chromax fan and all of them have short cable by default.
