A small tip about correcting distortions. If you took the photo yourself or you know which camera and lens model was used when taking photo, its better to use automatic lens corrections. Not only it will perfectly eliminate distortions, it will also correct for vignetting and chromatic aberrations with just 3 clicks.

Absolutely the best way! I use this technique almost every day. Sometimes i make dedicated shadow template to use for a series of "same shape" products. It speeds up mu workflow.

As someone starting off in product photography and retouching... i would desperately appreciate more videos on product photography editing or retouching.
