What features do you depend on to get your video done?

I saw another designer use the Transform effect to do the scrolling. The benefit is you can pause the scrolling on the first few screens (showing producer, director, star actors) then resume scrolling for the rest of the actors and crew.

Thank you so much. I was unsure how to use that feature and your video gave me the confidence to do it.

Just completed my "test scrolling" and it rendered very well. Thanks again, Nate. Just can't get enough of these "Nate fixes and tips".

I've seen credits for TV and cinema where the credits are in 2 columns. First column may show something like "Cinematography" which is right justified, and the second column uses smaller type any may list 4 names who were on the crew. This column is left justified. Can you create a part 2 of this video showing this more complex format?

Thank you Nate for the time and effort you put in these KZbin videos I tested my scrolling credits by making a textfile in libreoffice draw set page to a2 portrait made a green background and white text Saved ir as a png Imported the png in kdenlive used chroma key effect to remove the green background Used transform effect to make the png scroll Works nicely A long txt in the titler in kdenlive does not work so smoothly But i do appreciate the effort you put into it Have you some ideas to make holiday slides more appealing in kdenlive I can put zoom and pan on it but am looking on how to make stilll images more alive

Thank you, Edwin! Appreciate the feedback and experience sharing! To make still images more interesting, I'd suggest playing with animating the overall size (position and zoom works nicely for this) to add subtle motion. Also, using the Alpha Gradient to help fade in\out with graduated transparency can help with transitions. Small touches go a long way - sometimes by adding an additional layer (a line or shape that moves to compliment the image) adds a lot of enhancement. Hope that helps!

Is it possible to add pictures on each person under their name? So the picture also scrolls at the same speed as the name.

Hi Josefin! Thank you for the question! I confirmed this is indeed possible using the "add image" option from the Title designer window. It allows click-and-drag to the desired location and will anchor where dropped and roll with the other text. Hope that helps!
