It's a bit of a shame that they didn't base this arround known pirate havens, so like starting with a bay & docks, then expanding from there..to give it more uniqueness🤔

@@douanejohn1037 I call it a direct rip, as everything from the UI, art style and graphics to the game play and naval battles is exactly like Anno 1800. Looks like all they did was gave it new title and tweak the colors a tiny bit, then threw in a few pirate shanties and called it a new game.

Anno series goes back before 1800. This feels like a direct rip of those earlier titles.

Like the 1600 one but that had land battles and alot more resource gathering. Cities were much more involved.
