One of the premier film schools in the country, Dodge College of Film and Media Arts offers students the unique opportunity to learn filmmaking in a hands-on environment modeled on a working studio. The college is comprised of the Sodaro-Pankey Undergraduate School of Film and Media Arts, offering degrees in film production, film studies, screenwriting, creative producing, television and broadcast journalism, public relations and advertising, screen acting and digital arts; and the graduate Conservatory of Motion Pictures, offering M.F.A. degrees in film production, film and television producing, production design, and screenwriting, and an M.A. in film studies. Two joint M.F.A. degrees in producing are also offered in conjunction with the business (M.F.A./M.B.A.) and law (M.F.A./J.D.) schools. Dodge College is housed in Marion Knott Studios, a state-of-the-art, 76,000-square-foot studio and classroom building that provides students with 24-hour access to sound stages, edit bays, Dolby surround mixing, a motion capture stage and more. With an Oscar and Emmy-award winning full-time faculty that boasts more feature film credits than any other film school, Dodge College is where students learn the entertainment business from the inside out.

Even though it’s 6 years old, this was excellent. As an aspiring web series creator I learned so much. Thanks Ross Brown and Film Courage for sharing this information with us.

nice. the start was very helpful. might be a good idea to have some form of navigation on long videos like this, so the viewer can visit the questions they find interesting. or maybe splitting the questions into videos. :)

I go to the University of Bergen, studying Movie and TV production. Browns book is sitting on my shelf, I bought it for this semester because we're going to create a web series. I am scared and exited and I have no idea what I'm doing. Lol.

I like the idea of doing a web series. Imagine one that went on for years, done five or ten minutes at a time.

Like mines check it out on my channel it might confuse you or you might not like it because it is an adult oriented comedy I've been doing for years I do not want to troll you I warn you before now that it's very dark and has off color humor I have it on my old channel the keepaway and this channel right here check it out and again you might like it might not depends on your humor and taste in comedy

9:40: correction, viewers don’t often watch the videos in order. So they might very well START with ep3, especially if it has more traffic.

@@jakehopkins6989 Maybe only 2% of the weirdos who watch tv 24/7 do that. For a regular person it would be way to confusing to so that and try to guess what the context of what's going on with the story.

How do you know if a story is meant to a feature or a series? I'm currently trying to write a feature, but my Dad (We want to work together complete production on said script) keeps trying to push that the story should be a series.

I have a web series were I write shoot it mainly on my phone and edit it on a app but I'm given what I can work with I do not what to troll anyone and give someone a terrible experience I assure you that my show is very dark and have off color humor it will confuse you and it has bad quality I can admit that but I try my very best and I star in it I mostly went head first into it and I've made mistakes but everyday I learn from them and all I ask is to give me a chance I hate to seem desperate but it looks that way and once again some might feel offended because of the content but I like to entertain and hopefully someone will like it if not that's ok only a few can understand it give me feedbacks on it positive or negative
