Is there a difference between the signal from HDMI OUT and SDI A OUT?? Have not tested it myself but I suspect that you only need one converter (for SDI-B only) and can use the HDMI port instead of SDI-A for playback of ProRes 4444 with alpha channel

For Some reason my HyperDeck doesn't want to see your file and also my file. it sonly sees the file that my item recorded ?

The HyperDeck is finicky and all the files need to be the same encoding format. I would back up your file, erase the memory card and load my file.

Very nicely explained. Thank you! In the diagram, you have 3g SDI to HDMI converters but the Hyperdeck Studio HD Plus has 6G SDI ports? Any advantages of using 6G SDI to HDMI converters instead or using 3G converters is good enough as its cheaper?

Great question. The ATEM Mini Pro, ISO, Extreme and Extreme ISO all cap out at 1080p. So, no reason to spend more on converters that are outputting higher than 1080P.

When recording, does the trigger recording setting allow for the Hyperdeck to automatically begin recording when the camera records? Or does someone still need to manually start the recording?

Sorry for the late reply but I believe you need to manually hit record on the HyperDeck.

Olá Tenho 1 hyperdeck studio mini e 1 hyperdeck studio hd pro e não fazem o playback dos vídeos Faço edição em Davinci Resolve studio e premier pro cc 2023 e utilizo o Windows 10 64bits Já testei em Dnxhd. Dnxhr. Prores proxy. Prores lt e não funciona o playback Há alguma solução? Abraço

Hello, I put everything in Apple Pro Res 4444 to enjoy the alpha on my lower thirds, on videos to broadcast, impossible to match... Any idea ?

You can have you lower third animations in 444 and your videos in 422 BUT they both need to be the same format. I use mov files.

This is exactly what I use, but one time it reads all the lower and the other time the videos, but I don't have both at the same time...

You can only play one video at a time. No way to play a video and an overlay on that video.

@@CreateConsumeRepeat I was able to find out where my concern came from on the different readings. I had files in 25 fps and others in 60 fps, which made the whole thing really incompatible. I switched everything to 25 fps and everything is fine now, with 4444 and LT!

You can totally do 3G. I would just ensure it is at least able to do 1080p 60
