This is by far the best channel for drafting a pattern to fit YOURSELF!!! I was having difficulty with the armhole being wayyyyy to big on other channels😐😒its like they were taking average fashion industry standard numbers and mixing it with their personal measurements. Its cool if it works for them but I can't take the fiddly calculations, hard work all to no avail. Thank you young lady for making my clothes FINALLY!!! fit properly😍

At 16:11, you are using a measuring tape to get the increment of the entore armsyce, right? And then, if the measurement isn't close enough to the measurements taken, you are now making adjustments to it. At 20:44, the whole session is just lovely! perfect. I want to watch this again, but taking notes and using colored pens and pencils to show detailed increments and measurements. Thank you, it was so enjoyable!

Thank you for sharing! Your teaching style of how to make your own pattern blocks can’t be beat. There are some decent tutorials out there but they all like to include instructions for standard sizing. You really broke the mold and made it just click for me by using my own measurements. I had so much fun creating my first bodice block. The only thing I need to tweak are the darts since I have a much fuller bust. So I’m on the hunt for how to do a full bust adjustment soon. ❤

Thank you so much! The tunics you made were beautiful! If people are very plus size like me (woman's size UK34/USA 30 or higher), 1/2 the pattern front may exceed the width of 1/2 the paper so I don't fold the paper when drafting. We also need more "ease" so I find having a bit more seam allowance (4 inches total seam allowance) helps me adjust where extra ease is needed. I use this in addition to the standard ease. For pants, my stomach really expands when I sit so I take that hip measurement standing and seated. Mine is 8 inches different!
