Hey all! Thank you for stopping by:) If you want to support my work, comment whatever you want as much as you can! It's the easiest way to boost the algorithm! CHEERS!

Great job! I feel like a sticky note with passwords written on it, stuck to the console would be a real dazzler!

That weathering looked great in the set lighting. The teensiest change I would personally make would be some extra black wash lain on kinda heavy at spots on and near to the front edge of the console. If this console has been in constant use by people who depend on it, but don't have the ability to do a full re-fit, there are going to be spots on the edge where folks rest their wrists against it. Skin oil, differing crew skin PH values and gunk will build up into a sort of fan-shaped dark impression. A couple of spots like that would signal to the audience's subconscious that someone has been sitting here for a long time. Especially if you point them out to the actor so they actually rest their hands there.

I don't know if you've ever used it but really cheap RC car remotes work great for a fighter joystick.

An absolutely spectacular build!!! Shot a music video about 18 months ago where we built a whole spaceship interior for about £300. You were the main inspiration for the whole thing but this vid would have been a lifesaver!

This is my favourite video you have done! Really well done and I am gonna steel your console monitor build technique 👍

That was a great series of making the console, really enjoyed every episode. I will be looking forward to seeing it in your future production. Excellent work.

The official term for The backlit displays is okudagram after Ken Okuda the art director for Star Trek TNG who created the technique for making displays for the show.

Big Thank You again for this build. You've shown where I was clearly overthinking some of the display I'm doing for my game room, especially with the video readouts and blinking lights. Love what you do, thanks for sharing!!!

After working most of my adult life in those grundgy types of shops, I just can't bring myself to do weathering on clean stuff. 😂 Love your work though.

Is it less expensive to cast 3d printed objects instead of to just print more of them when you need them? I'm just curious why you use that technique instead of just reproducing them?

Since you make science fiction flicks in and around the LA area, have you ever had the desire to shoot at Bronson Canyon or Vasquez Rocks? I know it's almost stock footage (stock scenery?) at this point, but the cinema nerd in me would be hard pressed not to try and use them somehow. :)

Hey, man! Looking good. So, the "mystery piece" from part 1🤔 Would I be correct in thinking there is an easter egg in a video I just re-watched from a few months ago?

Not everything in Sci-Fi has to be dirty.... Star trek and the Imperial star destroyers and them bases had clean surfaces. Other than that you did a great job

True but in my sci-fi, everything has to be dirty. My preference :)
