Creating a Baseline Set and Volume Edit in the Roland FR-1x

Note: The camera microphone tried to balance the volume, therefore the difference is not as clear.
In this video we will created a baseline set to see how the edits affect the sounds. I am only editing the treble registers and only changing the volume in this video. For this example I turned the volume all the way up to max and then added the 5 and 1/3 stop for the Piccolo reed.
In future videos we will be changing styles along with other items such as revert and chorus to examine the changes.

I was not thinking about doing the orchestral sounds this early, but I may look at changing that. Thank you for the comments.

I have some nice settings I made for treble accordion sets and some for orchestral. I made a Cajun set using the top 5 reed combinations set to Cajun and turning off the bottom 2. Adding some volume always seems to help. For orchestral, I modified the Baritone sax and made a register for horn and orchestra. It's too bad Roland has the FR1X set up so you can't audition the sound without first loading it. It's very time consuming.

I agree, it would be so much nicer to be able to hear the edits without having to load them.
