I don't blame Pete for leaving you hanging with the high five after you said he looked like he is dying inside 🤣 I would definitely vote for you if you were a politician; the texture speech was everything.

Thank you for the tips, they look great! What WB setting of an action camera do you recomand for winter? I use it at 5500k in the summer but can't decide for the winter..

Nice video bro. I think it'd be also interesting for the viewers to know that you probably used an ND filter, right? It helps to prevent overexposure in your footage and keeps that nice depth of field intact.

Great! Please, help with a doubt about freeze cold whether: the cameras are damaged in winter from below zero to minus 10-15 degrees (I'm in Norway). Are cameras damaged at these temperatures? In the instructions it says to use it at temperatures between 0 and 40 degrees. I have canon eos m50 mark2. They saying it because of the batteries, or because the sensor, lenses, electronics, screens, etc. get damaged? I know I have to bring backup batteries and keep them warm and also do not enter the house with the camera, before putting it in a sealed plastic bag to avoid condensation. But, just the fact of taking the camera out cold, would it harm it? Or you are safe, as long as we ensure a slow and safe temperature transit of the camera. Maybe put heating tapes on the Camera and lenses, like the ones on the telescope? Thank you

No idea unfortunately. Never taken this camera anywhere below -1 or -2 degreesC so can't help you there

I have a Canon rebel and I live in Alberta, canada, where it routinely gets to the minus 40s and minus 50s during the long winters. Minus 40 is the same in celsius and in fahrenheit. My Canon's battery dies _very_ quickly at or slightly below freezing, the lens fogs up, the camera keeps turning itself off. This is why I try to film (for example, a sunrise) using a folded tripod _inside_ my car, shot through an open window but only for a few minutes at a time and with the car heat turned on. I keep a small fleece blanket to wrap my camera in to warm it between filming sessions while in my car. By the time I can feel my hands again, I remove the camera, and open the window again. It will soon be too cold for the window to work, though, so I will likely not use the Canon at all then. My Panasonic mini video camera, which I use as a car dash cam, has a more robust battery that lasts longer and can be recharged as it's recording, even in my car (cigarette lighter plug in). It seems more cold friendly. My tripod hates cold weather (even near freezing), and my hands quickly get too cold to hold the camera, so I keep the neck strap around my neck so I don't accidentally drop it, and I don't force my tripod to open or close when it's below freezing or parts may break off in the cold. I wouldn't put any heating source near a lithium battery. They can explode or catch fire! A telescope is different from a camera, however if your telescope uses a battery source, be careful if you heat it, even with "heating tape". Be safe filming, and stay warm safely! Final observation: It's dry here on the prairies. I imagine the humidity and cold would be very bad for your camera in Norway. You may ruin your camera or cause damage using it outdoors in winter. Condensation alone could cause problems for the lens, SD card, battery and battery connection points, etc.
