Hi, please help with my question. I have 7 shapes on the one slide - each has 3 states: normal, correct, and wrong. I want to count how many shapes are in the correct state and show that number in a score.

What version of the programm Captivate do you use ? In version6 I don't see menu Drag and Drop

How do you keep the slide from automatically advancing if you're not including the drag and drop interaction in a quiz? My slide is set up correctly and I have made the success and failure captions to display for 7 sec timing, but as soon as you hit submit the slide automatically advances. How do I get it to play for those 7 sec? Or have the slide pause before moving on so users can read the success/failure message.

I am encountering the problem that when I create a second slide, it does not give me the option of making it score able. Is there any way of writing an advanced action to create a scoring result? Thank you.

Return to original position is the default behavior for a draggable object. If you wish to disable this feature, select the object, go to the Drag & Drop Properties panel, choose the Options tab, and uncheck "Send drag source to original position".

Michael, I'm trying to make a map puzzle of a country. A territory/object can only fit in an appropriate place. In my attempts, always a territory/object ends up being able to fit in more than one place. Can you help-me? Thanks!

Create hidden drop targets in the shape of each state, and place them over the map. You can then use Drag and Drop Properties to adjust snapping as needed. Best of luck!

Why don't you begin your explanation at the very beginning (first shag) ? Wich kind of slide do you create, for example ? I never opened this program ; it is the first time.
