Creating a Glow Effect

This rock painting tutorial demonstrates how to use a makeup sponge to create a lovely, light effect with your acrylic paints.
The supplies that I use are as follows:
DecoArt matte acrylic paints
Latex makeup sponge (These are sometime called a beauty blender...the one you choose must have a dome-shaped end.)
Pre-painted rocks

Love your blend result, have you tried squirting circles onto the sponge directly from the bottles?

Yeah, it usually makes for a sponge that is too thick with paint, but if you use a fine tipped bottle it can work.
