Not to be critical, but that is a tailpiece. Not a bridge. The bridge on a CBG is usually separate from the tailpiece. On many guitars the bridge serves two purposes, one to connect the strings and for string height and intonation. That is what I was expecting from your hinge bridge.

Trying to find info on scale length and fret measurement. All important to construction of neck, bridge placement, mounting neck to body. Have you done videos on scale length? Thanks! Good videos!

Hey! If you add a whammy bar will the hinge bridge act as a floating bridge? So you can create a tremolo effect cuz you can push it up and down?

I saw a vid on another channel about ensuring that the string hight was exactly right and position of neck hight the guy suggested using the strat type bridges for up and down movement etc it all sounds really complicated thats the only bit I dont understand neck hight bridge position etc

I was curious recently about why there were few truly adjustable bridges on acoustic guitars. Turns out that the ingenious Tele or even better Strat bridges aren’t designed to transmit vibrations to the soundboard. On a solid body electric with magnetic pickups, it’s not really necessary. But on an acoustic it’s everything. So if you have a single coil or humbucker on your CBG and always plan to plug it in, a Strat bridge that is fully adjustable might be perfect. But if you want full acoustic sound, I think a floating bridge would be better.

need to play like you... and still cannot play anything ... .aaaaarrgghhhh i can only play "barre' " or power chords ... the one that can let you play keeping all the string down with one finger at the time and moving up and down the fretboard .. like smoke on the water or wild thing songs .. too low skill but.. i can only play that ....aaararaghh maybe i have to try the just intonation fretboard
