Thank you for sharing ! You inspire me so much! This will be my first year homeschooling my daughter. Your organization is amazing. Right now I'm just writing my thoughts on a notebook. Hope I can learn more. Thank you.

Thanks! I don't really have lists for nature - I try to let myself and the kids choose something that we see or are interested in. Though, if you feel like you need more structure, I recommend Exploring Nature with Children. For science this year, I am following the curriculum - so the lesson list is basically just the index. But I would be happy to share my geography lesson list this year. I will let you know when I get that up.

Thanks for posting this! When you do school-related read alouds to your kids, do you have them do either Charlotte Mason style narrations or discussion questions? And if you do either, how do you go about it? Appreciate it :)

Hi Liana, We don't do narrations or discussion questions with our read-alouds in the evening; that is generally just cozy family time. When I do read-alouds during school-time, I am starting to have my second grader do some Charlotte Mason style narrations. We keep it pretty simple - we always start with reviewing where we left off last time, then, after a paragraph or a page (whatever feels like the appropriate amount of story), I will ask her to tell me back what happened in her own words. I am not expecting her to remember every detail; sometimes I will fill in or repeat something if I think it is important. I am not asking my son to narrate these right now since he is just in Kindergarten, but he is welcome to add something if he would like. :)
