I hope there will be a example tutorial for each type of houses and sizes, like example the title of the video is "2 story house (ft and sqm)", bungalow (ft. and sqm), I mean a complete creation video from the start and to the end of tutorial video like in this video but there's a creation inside too, just a visual of creation only no explanation of what tools you use or etc. but it's good too for us if you want to add that, it will be hard to do it and it will be a long video but it's good for your time of views too, it will helps us a person like me that want to have an idea to access this app easily just copying what you do from start to end, what should we click what should I put just like that, the good thing that I mean is the only we need to do is we will just reedit it if we want to add or lessen the objects or rearrange, a person like me that want to have a visualization in 3D of what house design plan I dreaming about and at the same time I am the one who builds in it but there's no time for understanding or memorizing the tools in app and currently not sure what sizes in floor plan like in bedroom or kitchen, what will be the good view position of stairs in 2nd floor etc. etc., it will helps us if there will be a different kinds of complete step by step tutorial creation sample video in this channel.

Is it possible to make different rooms have different heights in foundation to create split level house design.? If not currently available, when will this update be available?

If you’re using Live Home 3D for Mac, please select multiple Floor objects in the Project Tree, and their total area will be displayed above the rulers. Please pay attention that you can't calculate the square footage of the walls.

Is anyone else hopelessly unable to use roof contour points (9:06) the way they're used in this video? At 9:20 you see the new points create contour lines in the roof, which are then used to manifest a dormer. I am unable to get the contour lines to present.

Trying to follow this tutorial, so the first step is to import plan.png...where do I get that file?

Importing a floor plan is optional. If you have a floor plan on paper or in your computer, you need to import it into Live Home 3D. If you don't have a plan, you need to build your project from scratch, as it is described in the video.

You can't open and close doors with a setting in Live Home 3D. Instead, there are separate 3D models available in the Library for opened and closed doors. As for turning the light on/off for a lamp or candle: - first, you should make sure that the Lighting is enabled in 3D View. - then if you select the light object (a lamp or a candle) you will be able to control its light sources from the Light Properties tab of the Inspector. Hi, it's completely different - SketchUp is perfect for making 3D models, whereas Live Home 3D is used for interior design tasks when you are constructing houses, terrain, arranging furniture, plants and accessories, and other things.
