Thanks for this overview. Very clear and informative to get you up and running. I would really appreciate a longer course for Live Home 3D. I've tried to find a suitable training on Skillshare and Udemy without any success. I'm using the Pro version for Macintosh and I guess the abilities are the same.

Can also add that I realized I also had the Pro version on my iPad M1 Pro and I really like the benefits of the pencil support and mobility. Great implementation from your development team 💐

Hi, I'm pretty new to this app so I got really confused on some parts in the video that you skipped, specifically referring to when you built the Gable Dormer in 10:10 to 10:42. My Gable Dormer keeps revealing the inside of the attic no matter how where I move it or how big or small I make it, while your Gable Dormer only revealed the outer red layer of the roof. I keep trying to remake the roof and then add the Gable Dormer again, but it doesn't change anything. I also don't know how you transformed the window color from that light shade to clear so fast. It would be awesome if you could explain what you did or how I can fix this problem. Also, what was the purpose of making the roof segment for the Roof Gables a hole?

The Building Block tool is available only if you have the Pro features unlocked. If you don't have the Pro version, you can use the objects available in the “Shapes” section of Object Library, as an alternative.

"The height of the walls can be changed at any time." But I'm not going to tell you how to do it or a lot of these for that matter. I would have hoped that the actual tutorials from the company that makes this program would have been better than this pile of crap. I'm so lost and it's not even that I use inches instead of mm that's an easy fix in my head. No, you just flat out skip things or don't include important information. Oh, but let's make sure you know how to put a roof on right away!

Hi, thanks for sharing your feedback with us. Right after the phrase, "The height of the walls can be changed at any time.", the video shows how to change it: "To change the default story height, open “Settings”, tab “Measurements”. The initial value is 300 cm (if the metric system is used). The height of the current story can be changed under the “Building Properties” tab of the Inspector." Here is some additional information about this, which can be helpful: The program does not allow you to directly adjust the height of standard walls. All Story Walls on a given story share the same height, which corresponds to the story height. To modify this, navigate to the Building Properties tab in the Inspector. For Loft Walls, their height is determined by the roof located above them on the same story. If there is no roof, the Loft Wall’s height will match the story height. The Curtain Wall is the only type of wall that allows for customized height adjustments. You can modify its Start Height, End Height, and Elevation using the Object Properties tab in the Inspector.
