You could boost your efficiency by combining your Perth Planks and Machinery lines: 1) Pick up Planks 2) Deliver planks, pick up Machinery 3) Make a slight detour through Perth and drop off Machinery 4) Head back up and get more planks.

"N" and "M" keys!!!! when you were doing the long rail hit the N and M keys to increase and decrease the gradient over the whole line. its good for adding bridges and for long distances to prevent tunnels!!!

Please please can you upload the map to steam with industries 🎉🎉 many thanks

You should edit your oil route. When you get to Broone refined oil, set the line to just drop off, and not pick anything up. Otherwise the line tries to balance the load, and you end up getting this situation where your trains try to load when going both ways. You can do this with the buttons next to the "utilize both platforms", also you can set your vehicles to only depart when they're full, as other commenters said. EDIT: ah, I see you ended up doing that at the end of the episode.

Love the series but we all want to play on this map with u please upload it to steam or share it with us somehow 🙏
@JClark26007 ай бұрын
For the cost of 'seeing the trains' you could've purchased a whole other train for the line. Plus with nice long train runs the grade is averaged and therefore trains don't slow down as bad.

get that fuel delivered to a few cities and let's get them growing! from there we can start the public transport! Also, look at the rates of each line so you get the efficiency you are looking for

Forgive me if I’m wrong but I thought the goal was to match line rate to production. Also I’d love to play this map please put this on the workshop
@MihailBFC9 ай бұрын
he doesn't play like that 😂 totally ignores the rates and creates a spaghetti of train lines that get jammed; wait and see 😂

your new line, is not that much more efficient, it is just that you transport a lot of goods, therefore make more money. if you want to make it really efficient, you need to find a way to have goods more often aboard. for example, you go from the new wells to the refinery and from there to create combusible and back. your train is full way more time. some how, you would need to pick the combustible and drop it off in a city on the way back to the wells, to make it even better. For me I manage much easier 2 lines dedicated than 1 going wells -refinery - wells2 - refinery.

First off, AWESOME SERIES, would love to see more of this. Second, I recommend watching hushey (the KZbinr) about how to be super efficient and get the best everything in transport fever 2, awesome person!

I might be wrong here but wouldn’t it be cheaper to just do tunnels rather than all that terraforming
@Tonydoore9 ай бұрын
Just a thought to grow Perth you could terrace the cliff

Hey, loving the series. Something fun you could try might be if you made a large vehicle hub that then connects to a train. A little industrial zone with trucks near perth? Kununurra - KUNA-NARAH but say it fast kinda helps. maybe try in your best aussie accent
@TigerStike9 ай бұрын
Also, I Dunno if it would make money but a little ferry along the coast of Perth also fun.

Tip for pronouncing Kununurra- all the vowels are the same short 'uh' sound: kuh-nuh-nuh-ruh with a slight emphasis on the 'r'

why dont you close the production route? Seems like you always start only doing 1/2 or 2/3's? Legit question not trolling
@tlowey19519 ай бұрын
It is probably to create a good cash flow. Although not accurate as you would not buy crude oil if you were not producing refined oil.
