Idea: make Australia's 3 luxury passenger train routes, Indian Pacific, The Ghan and Great Southern Indian Pacific goes from Perth to Sydney with stops in Kalgoorlie, Adelaide and Broken Hill The Ghan goes from Adelaide to Darwin with stops in Alice Springs and Katherine Great Southern goes from Adelaide to Brisbane with stops in Stawell (not far from Portland), Melbourne, Yass Junction (Canberra) Golburn, Sydney and Coffs Harbour

my modest opinion is keeping the wood/plank truck lines as income streams while constructing the new train lines parallelly then scrap the trucks afterward if I were you.

Seniac make sure that trains go up north in form Perth because I live up north and it is a bunch of roots up north in Perth

You can optimise them tracks a lot. Doing unnecessary merging when you can just have more track running alongside and put in better bypasses

When building that style of station you need to connect the left hand platform to the right hand rail and vice versa, convert the crossovers to double slips, then you don't need the extra crossovers.

Actually perth can get food by the new engines as they go up to 25 miles per hour so its enough fast to get food to that town. Just dropping an idea! Amazing job with the trains though!

You can set the max percent of coal and iron ore to 50% and only need one line that does both

54:05 why don’t you optimize your trains? You can make your Esperence coal and ore bring back steel and just run the steel route from coal / ore pickup depot. This increases your profits as your coal and ore earn more money both ways (short routes) + your long route is slightly smaller (hence lesser number of trains needed). Overall reduces the traffic in the area!

Because of the wagons. You need different wagons for steel and ore. Unless you want to carry around empty wagons the whole time you need more than one train

Please think about when you utilise the “use both platforms” the Perth rail network is being held up occasionally by trains crossing to use platforms on the other side of the track to them, particularly the logs, ore and coal I noticed

The tunnel & bridge hate is unfathomable. The mispronunciation of place names is cute but infuriating... Interruption of the Perth food supply - just a bit of reality getting in to this fictional series Absolutely loving it.
