Probably one of the best tutorials I have seen on the 'Go to Destination' and 'Bookmark' workaround, thank you Brandon. The InDesign team needs to add this as a basic feature under buttons and forms. Frustrating to say the least!

Excellent stuff Brandon. I was using Hyperlink to execute the same action and for some reason it would land on the center of the page or bottom of the page. Glad to have landed on your video. It works perfectly now.

Hi there. Thanks for sharing this video. It is much appreciated. I've recently started using inDesign, making the transition from powerpoint, and I noticed that there aren't as many animations as compared to powerpoint like 'wipe', 'dissolve and 'blink' to name but a few. Is there any way to add more animations in InDesign?

I finally found a solution to solve this problem. Thank you so much for the tutorial Brandon! You saved my life. Really. I was stuck before. I created a text and made it as an interactive button but it didn't work cos I chose Go To Page as an action like you mentioned in the video lol anyway, thanks again!

I would like to export the file in 75% so that when the PDF document is opened, all the pages are shown in 75%. I have adjusted the setting while exporting to 75%. However, in the exported PDF, although it opens at 75% when I click the button and it takes me to a different page, it is at 100%. I am guessing that this has got something to do with the Zoom field while creating the button. How do I make sure that the view is 75% even after clicking the button? Please help!

I've also noticed that when animating, the animation happens for instance everytime the button is clicked. Can it be done so that the animation only happens once when the button is clicked?

Gotta love Adobe. Can't just use the Go to Page function. Oh no, that's not compatible with PDF. Nope. Gotta make a bookmark, then reference that bookmark.
