CREATING A MASTERBOARD & JOURNAL PAGE WITH DOORS

This is a long one with step by step process. In this video I make my week 9 page for my 2024 concertina / accordion journal. This journal is a bit different - to usual journals as I will creating the journal page by page each week. I'll be using my scraps and using my stash as much as possible. I also approach making the page in a different way by making a mixed media master board to begin with #mixedmedia #useyourscraps #concertina

The concertina / accordion journal I am creating can be regarded as an #artjournal or a #junkjournal - it's up to you what you want to call yours.Whatever you call it, I will be showing how you can create each page using #collage and #mixedmediatechniques . Whether art journal pages or #junkjournalpages we are going to have fun turning #trashtotreasure. Whatever your style or preference for #journaling you can adapt this project to do what you enjoy most. Have fun.

Good morning Kylie! Great video as always. I love your statement about life would not be any fun if we all like the same things. I find that even if I don't necessarily have the same artistic style as someone I'm watching on KZbin, there is always, always something that I can get from their video that I can implement in my own art. Headaches are terrible. I wonder if it's because it's becoming spring and all the stuff is blooming and the pollen? Anyway I hope you feel better very soon. And yes give yourself grace, you're doing a wonderful job.

A novel idea for a page. I love it! I attempted double doors on a page in my "experiment" journal. They were not nearly as successful or as awesome as yours. I think I'll try again. 🙃TFS ❤❤❤
