One more thing.....your new academy, Good Hope Academy reminds me of a private school I once attended down in a place called, St Croix, an island in the Virgin Islands, USA. The school was known as, Good Hope School. It sat on the rocks by the ocean, and all day we could hear the waves crashing over those rocks! I'm trying to remember now, which ocean was it.....Atlantic, or the Caribbean Sea.....this was back in 1966-67....I was 13, and never made a point to learn where exactly we were located! 😆 I type too much! How beautiful to see you giving to these precious children, so they will know and love the Elohim of Israel and his Son Yashuah the Messiah, and learn to keep Torah. That's the requirements in Revaluation. Having the testimony of Yashuah and keeping Torah, what moor do we need? HalleuYah 🙌. I know we still need food, clean water, clothing, and shelter, but having a real relationship with the Father, the son, and being filled with their Spirit is really everything because he will give his children everything they could ever hope for or dream of and see to every need!!! I believe you're teaching those precious ones this very thing! HalleuYah Yahuah! 🙌

Shalom Joshua. Thanks for sharing with us this wonderful work that you are doing in Kenya. Coincidentally, I took off from work 2 weeks ago and went with a team of 7 people on an education mission trip to Borneo. After getting off the plane, we went through bumpy roads travelling into the interior part of Borneo. Our work was to teach English to the children of the indigenous people from 2 different villages in that area as well as to minister God's words to them. All these children are high school kids from age 13yo to 18yo. Their lifestyle is so basic and they are very grateful for what they have. Our team brought lots of stationaries, chocolates and lollies for them😊 I brought along some of my old English books, stacks of Daily Bread devotional booklets (English version) and an old Bible (NLT English version) for their book room (mini library). I was teaching the more senior groups ie age 16yo to 18yo and had to use Malay language to explain all the English vocabulary found in a reading passage, and also some verses from the book of Psalms. I taught them to sing a song which is corresponding to the specific psalm reading that I had selected, and to my pleasant surprise, they can memorise the psalm and sing it out loud along with the music😂. I had also taught them a few other praise&worship songs, and explained the song lirics in Malay. I noticed that they learnt English rather quickly through songs, and it's easier for me to share God's words with them this way. I totally agree with you that music can open doors to people as we share Gospel with them. From this trip, I believe that singing praises, worship songs & its music could create a powerful impact on people, and thus allow us to plant a seed into these young people's hearts. I was teaching them to sing "How Great Is Our God/Gadol Elohai" where you were singing this song with us at Sydney's Wesley Conference Center last year Sept (if you could still remember😅) I remember before we left the village, a few girls came by to give me a hug and said goodbye before handed me a thank you card full of drawings and these words: "Dear Janet and you all, thank you for coming and teaching us new praise songs. We so very grateful and happy because can spend time together. Don't forget to come again. God bless you. See you next time ❤" Indeed I brought back beautiful memories and tremendous joy which I could hardly described, besides a number of mosquito bites on my arms and legs!! I feel deeply touched and greatly blessed by these young people 🙏 Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV) says "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age". Joshua, lets be encouraged to do what God has called us to do, as He has promised to always go with us, even to the very end of the age🙏🙏🙏
