Interesting concept , l was tnking that his powers would combine 3-4 nen types such as Enhancer ; Emiter ; Conjurer & maybe Manipulator , such as his Bankai like power in which he has high speed and his new blut vene power from tybw so thag he becomes more durable , the emiter ability is rather similar than yours , but for his hollow form he conjures a mask then when he puts it on his face it manipulates his body to turn it into a monster that has all of his powers & stats boosted to the peak bur under the condituon that he becomes uncounxious .

@ all good brother. On this channel I haven’t done any lore-accurate translated abilities. But on my other channel @KitePlanet I have a playlist called “Power system crossovers” and I would say the Guts(berserk), Shinra(fire force), and the 10 shadows(jjk) videos are decent examples of me trying to stay accurate while using nen instead of the original power system. Most of my videos I try to just interpret/translate their powers over in my own way. Tbh this ichigo one is a rare one where I just make something up

Thanks for the video! Can you Nen category/Hatsu for the "YuYu Hakusho" characters? I feel like Yusuke has Post Mortem Nen boost with a Nen Spirit Guardian like Puf having his own Nen Category but Yusuke is a Emitter. Maybe a duel type Emitter/Enhancer, because Yusuke got hands. Kuwabara seems like a 1 in million Nen genuis but would be a Transmutor for Spirit Sword with Kuwabara dabble in other Nen Categories. Like he dabbles and creates his upgrade Hatsu, Dimension Cutting Sword that cuts Barrier and Dimension. Kurama is a Manipulator with Plants but grows his power with Conditions and advance techniques to compensate that. Kurama strategies are dangeriys and possibke Post Mortem Nen give Kurama mind/spirit/aura power comes from his experience as Yoko Kurama or his past Demon Bandit Fox Life. Hiei is duel wielding. I just dont know as Emitter/Enhancer or Ehancer/Transmutor. He obviously has restrictions with Dragon of the Darkness Flame on his Right Arm and Jagan Eye could aide Hiei in a different Nen category, but Hiei not great in that Category. Perhaps a Chimera Ant Captian level to make him less human. Would you agree with this or look at your own Nen Categories and Abilities for Urameshi Gang?

Alright I’m subbing and offering some thoughts cause this was interesting… We basically have an ability that from my understanding gives him some of his end of series powers but in his human form without anything more complicated… Where it’s basically his Fullbring ability but if it entirely focused on sending his black gètsūgà when it’s a proper mix of both of his Real Shíkaî’s Quincy réīryökū & His Hollow Réīryökū which I suppose have more of his human path FullBringer (Soul King piece related ability… which Notmally thematically I’d expect transcendence of Fate but most people speculate this was what would be revealed to be the power of his Bánkaî at end of series… though it gets lost in all the rush of having to finish the last planned 15 to 30 chapters in just Four chapters… but then 10 years and ability to write it all into the anime and the arc finally feels right in so many ways…) powers all mixed with his royal shinigami powers which all of it together kind of gives him abilities of all of the six paths though Jīgôkū/Hell is still not shown… outside of non canon film… since he’s finally got a he’ll arc now after the series end which only has one chapter out from few years ago before the anime came back… But the idea of space reaper kind of reminds me a lot of a More complex variation of using his original black gètsūgà Bánkaî powers whilst doing it in fullbring form in his human body which… His kid can turn into spirit form at will using his human body which… Kind of connects him with other super broken powers from both parents & the Quincy king that I guess killed the kids grandma which had the powers of the soul king which this Child just transdimensionally absorbs AS it was appearing as though he had a version of Yhwach in his spirit with the almighty that perfectly timed him somehow transdimensionally absorbing all the powers of god while he’s probably waking up for school or something…. Which… I mean his dad having an ability to do stuff in his human form beyond just creating black réīátsū in the arc when he’d lost All his powers… well it seems more fitting than his canon Fullbring ability which I don’t even remember if he named it or not… series… But I wonder how well he’d deal with being unable to leave the Black Whale One or if he’d just die from trying to explore outside the ship or whatever… But then people would want an additional class different from Kūrápíkà’s class…. Maybe that’s the best place to put him to learn nèn if he just thought he’s being a translator for rich people on a fancy trip to somewhere he’s not sure really exists… But I do worry about him surviving without Ōrīhímé healing him every time something happens while he’s not expecting it cause of not learning all of it fast enough… I’d probably have named his ability something like Black Moon of Void or something… sounds dramatic but maybe a bit too much like an end of one piece thing that probably wil be more complicated than most speculations regarding people with power of Nothingness or whatever theory… Man it’s rough saying this much while trying to not spoil anything too much if you’ve not seen it all in Japanese so there isn’t mediocre Dub acting… but it’s all way cooler when you learn how all the names work & other stuff that just gets lost when they try localising stuff that only really makes sense in Japanese with short notes to explain the meaning of things instead of some goofy dub dialogue… But I hate a lot of my favourite characters when I try hearing them in English and forget how much interesting wordplay stuff just gets dropped so some things are misleading or don’t make sense… But now I’m whining about dub stuff like most anime fans that read mangas and care about learning some cool Japanese wordplay stuff etc. & hidden messages & codes that sometimes need more than 4 languages to fully get… & I know almost nothin in japanese compared to many others… I do wish he developed more than 3 attacks in the whole story if we discount the final gètsūgà stuff… But that form sounds like a cool look for this kind of ability… So Mūgètsū Ichigo with a bit of changes to the normal art could become a cool new Hunter Hunter character… but in that form he’d look like some really scary friend of Kite’s or something… hehehe

Man does this feel like what would happen if you dropped him at end of series into the hunter exam like he’s just on a business trip… I wonder how well he’d learn all this since almost all of his powers are usually powers he doesn’t understand that are connected to his souls’ sword which he just let’s do stuff subconsciously… so he fights like an arrancar or a human fullbringer or a Quincy but won’t even Know that he’s done it… I mean he would be dead from Ūryü’s hollow bait challenge which nearly destroyed the town and basically got the soul society to take note of trouble in the living world… but he shouldn’t have been able to survive being hit by multiple cero blasts unless he basically used the advanced Quincy technique sklave rai to absorb réīshí which then got sent back in a Yet to be named sword slash… since he hadn’t created gètsūgà tènshō yet if im remembering right… But this Hátsū feels like a Hunter Hunter style explanation of some of the weird anomalous stuff that would happen around his body if he knew he probably shouldn’t leave his human body unattended… so This makes sense and almost makes the dángaî form for Mūgètsū feel like he thought of a less Gon like solution to that fight hehehe Cause that felt like using a Lètz Stíl with intent of giving everything before loss of Everything… which At least he’s got more than just regular human being aura powers… But my god would he be terrifying int he Hunter Hunter world if he can do even a little bit of his normal powers since he literally killed god, basically… even if it wasn’t intentional… But he could just basically fight like beginning of series hand to hand combat… just hákūdà basics developed from his father’s sneak attack attempts in place of an alarm clock… I do wonder how well he’d handle talking with Kūrápíkà & Gōn & Kīllūà, & our favourite of battle clowns… I guess it’s nice to have another active sword combatant that does emission slashes with a bit of enhancement or whatever… I’d expect he’s a specialist who would Never Ever figure this out or Intentionally do anything besides the basic emission abilities which copy his normal techniques but in more case specific ways… But man could he Actually learn to develop knew means of interacting with others in combat that could make him way scarier and smarter if he got back to Karakura town… Cause imagine him learning alongside all the Hunter Hunter characters through the anime… I do wonder if he wouldn’t just leave his body scaring everyone go blow up all of the Ants & then returning to say how he’s tried the best he can but isn’t sure if he got rid of all the transformed spirits… & EVERYONE would freak out and say “no way what kind of crazy post morten Nèn abikity is this?! How’d you have no Spirit left and then come back to life?! …. He must’ve restarted his heart using…” “Oh I’m a substitute shinigami so I can just fight in Soul Form cause I’m a shinigami… when you guys die I’ll introduce you to the captains in the soul society…” & then I bet they’d be freaked out… But Space Reaper is on brand with his basic techniques from his dad which are really using one slice or two slices and then I guess the cero was just knowing to mix certain aspects of his blood into his attacks somewhat sacrificially… I do wonder how toned down they’d need to make all his capabilities to fit in hunter hunter without basically being on Ging’s level… minus the nen skills… man it’s almost as funny as how he’s kinda one of the most powerful beings in existence but has No Idea about ANYTHING normal soul reapers do since he’s a living human teenager without hundreds of years of training in the afterlife or whatever… But I guess that helps make him an ideal replacement Réīô candidate… I bet he really gets messed up mostly from Not understanding the technical possibilities of complex abilities, same as his Complete lack of understanding kídō despite being a character who’s main ability is functionally a kídō sword of spirits that aren’t normal dead humans’ powers… But I always figured they could explain some stuff if the black gètsūgà aura was basically a vaccum created from all these types of energies being generated in contradictory ways from his existence itself as a being representative of various paths of samsara & basically super Buddha god… so This kinda Hátsū feels quite fitting for him… I do think it really gets exciting if he is forced to learn how to do things that aren’t just firing gètsūgà tènshō or how to walk on the air by creating a walkway from one’s own réīryökū though even his human friends do it better than him… hehehe He’d be a way more versatile combatant from experience fighting with nèn in the Hunter Hunter world… But I do wonder how well he’d handle dark continent without orīhímé there to save him each time he gets bit by hellbell or whatever lethal thing he touches carelessly cause of forgetting he’s not untouchable to non spirits or whatever… Without the wife he’s always dead though you know? I think the psychological journey he goes through is stronger than most of everything else he does in the narrative… he’s always following relatively straightforward & obvious goals except for particularly heavy situations or the Fullbring arc… which is I suppose the closest to already giving him a Nen ability without a name which he just tries to use the same as before he lost his other powers…. But that’s the arc that Feels closest to a Hunter Hunter style arc where everything about everyone is unclear and uncertain… If you dislike the guy you might just enjoy how much they make him suffer in that arc… I mean it could’ve been done better but that stuff sets up stuff for the end of- Cut the rest of what I wrote somehow…. dang…

Alright alright… Now I HAVE TO…. Usopp wouldn’t be amazing with Nèn?! I mean his personality & powers which he’s not entirely aware of ARE Super busted & Id argue there’s some Sunbconscious conquerors’ hákí which helped fuel the Merry’s spirit, & literally lying in ways where it somehow ends up accidentally becoming true often without him knowing he’s told people crazy stuff that did actually happen around him but usually without him even noticing… I think he’d need a Complex Nèn ability that togashi would’ve been saving for years…. Cause who knows what else it could be… Though…. speculation around his dad’s nickname as a sniper which I’m forgetting at the moment but loosely implies his sniping somehow always bending to hit a target even if they’ve dodged does kind feel like some broken stuff… & the recent attempted murder of…. Well if you know you know…. It should imply that Usopp would have some weird specialist abilities that feel like just being great at maybe 2 or 3 nen affinities where his internal psych issues are the main thing holding him back but Also making him WAY more powerful than he ever believes himself to be… Dude literally turns lies into truth over time and NOT through direct action… Actually his power over fate beats Ichigo’s since he needed assistance from MANY for his last fight where Fate Transcendence & disabling of someone with the powers of functionally god all had to work together so he could kill someone collaboratively in a super complex way where hardly any of it is clear… But man Usopp could maybe learn to speed up the whole Brave Warrior of the Sea dream a bit so he actually has strong Nèn that isn’t entirely accidental THOUGH if I wrote him into HxH I would make him have all these issues and he’s not really believe it was him accidentally altering the fate of others like the God some people believe him to be… & the other would be What he BELIEVES his Nèn is though he’s a specialist that wouldn’t know because it’d only happen while he’s lying or other certain complex psych conditions… But his Main ability would be around his sniping with slingshots of all sorts of weird ammunitions & maybe he could try forcing the aim to always adjust the shot towards the desired target… But it’d have some quirky goofy ways it works and fails etc. & then characters would be afraid that explaining his specialist abilities to him would damage his ability to control himself or make use of his powers because they’re accidental conditional belief based Nèn powers… Still hasn’t died of “I’ll die if I step onto that island”-Disease yet, so maybe that’s an example when they HAVE TO explain because Not Explaining would be MORE dangerous somehow…. This feels like a way togashi could have fun with a character like Usolando! Trying to write Usopp’s Nèn powers DOES sound more complicated than I feel comfortable even Attempting to explain how I’d imagine the abilities would work… Need to get my HunterBrain back on right to get all my terminologies accurate enough to explain how I’d imagine his powers being expressed in the Nèn system…. & I guarantee that is a video that could have countless One Piece fans that all really dig HxH ALL ready to hear your every word if you wrote it even half as crazy as the stuff I was thinking that I can’t even fully explain without rereading HxH which I haven’t done in a while anyway, since so many of us just return when new chapters come but the time between can get forgetful… I mean most of the fanbase haven’t even seen the original series you know?! I think it’d be cool if they did however many episodes during the time between weekly manga release years… as a seasonal thing… to really give time and spend time bringing Everything to life in a style like a blend of aspects of the two series styles… maybe togashi’s directorial input could go a long way… But man do I wanna hear how you’d handle Usopp cause characters like him are complex & interesting enough that people get really excited just imagining the mechanics of someone that feels like he’d be Kūrápíkà that has Never believed in himself Ever… Man that’s a friendship I’d find super interesting to see develop… The dialogue writing opportunities and Crazy power use without full understanding of their own work cause of also having alternate personalities with Additinal Hátsū…. man SōgèKing would have some crazy ability as one believing in their capabilities as the King of Snipers… & Whatever stuff about Sniper Island being in his heart or whatever : D I’m now thinking “maybe they did that as the next vid… I should check!” Hehehe I wonder what strange Nèn you’d see Usopp having, unless you can’t imagine him being the type to stand in a ring at heavens’ arena… Maybe that’s where SniperKing has to come out with Really weird abilities? There’s a LOT you can do with him man! The Usopp fanbase I’m sure will have suggestions… Maybe he’d transmute ammunition? Transmute means of storage for things like weapons & plants & ammunition supplies? I mean he’s Gotta be a specialist where different moods & personalities lend to accidental Nèn stuff like love of a ship making it basically come to life reflecting the love of its crew to save everyone without even wind or someone steering it somehow… I still believe it was His work on merry that did that cause he was only one willing to die with merry almost… That Fight is often the one time the fans Really actually respect him… But I do wonder if togashi would have as much whacky fun with his character… I mean there is a recent trend of people in zètsū basically having some variant of advanced observation hákí like Tsereidnich having functional futuresight plus non future based variant of Yhwach Bach’s abilities… I dunno… But Usopp might be doing weird stuff similar to Halkenburg Lite or something… Sorry I had to say all the ways to make an interesting vid outta God Usopp, but this DOES require the wild assumption that he and SniperKing be treated as the same person and their bounties are Very Different nowadays… Man right when we’re hitting ELBAF! Hehe But I wanna see how creative you get with Nèn considering all the countless stuff to draw from… I think my Nèn Psychology is functionally nothing beyond basic analysis & mediocre memory of aspects of Nèn powers etc. as wilder powers have been appearing… Loving the Succession Contest’s wildness in the story… Will have to see if you’ve done vids for other characters given Nèn & theorised whatever abilities…

As for ussop, idk if he’d be able to wield nen, I think it would be a situation like Komugi or neon where he unconsciously has a nen ability and possibly it only activates when he’s scared or he lies. But you are right in that ussop would be an extremely complex and interesting character to make a video about so I may just take your suggestion. Thank you.
