Here’s a quick video showing how I created a portrait look in Capture One out of a black and white image I shot on the GFX100s. I used the Color Editor as well as typical adjustments of shadows, highlights, clarity, and vignetting.

Dude, how is C1 on the iPad? I have flirted with C1 many times in the past, and I can never really go all the way with it... thoughts?

This is my second time switching/trying C1 and I'm switching for good. That's based on the desktop version. I just embraced that C1 is better, which I truly believe it is. While LR is more common and I'm more used to it, I decided to go all in on Capture One. Then, with the iPad version, which still lacks the masking feature, it's so great to use. But there's one more reason I went all in on the iPad: video editing. My last three videos were all edited on the iPad. 2 with Lumafusion and one with DaVinci Resolve. More on this switch to iPad later (video coming)!
