I just wanna say this video and ad were very well done, and the view count is not representative of the quality. Maybe it's just a very niche thing for KZbin so don't worry and keep going, you are clearly going to have more work coming your way. My goal is to also be in this space and you just provided a template. Very nice job.

Nick, awesome job with the breakdown! I've been dabbing with this same idea of offering multiple short ads from the main commercial. Seems like an excellent way to stand out from other video producers and deliver more value. Do you find it harder or easier to come up with ideas with this approach?

Thanks man! It's been a great way to utilize more of the content that we capture at each shoot and offer our clients more ways to use the content! I find it takes a little more effort in pre-production to come up with the ideas, but by the time we're in the editing phase we've already come up with a plan on how we should chop up the content!

Absolutely love this man. Are you located in WA? I'd love to chat about how to go about these sorts of projects. I am new to the freelance videography field and want to start doing this!

Hey mate How do you make a final product video and then recreate the video for the 3 formats for the different platforms?

Hey! This is awesome, I love the breakdown! I was curious how you got models/people to be in your video? I know this is a paid project but if I was doing a project for free how would I be able to get models to be in my video, especially if it requires hiking and sleeping in a tent to film at sunrise? I would really appreciate it if you answered because I’m planning on filming this weekend, thanks!

All of these models in the video were friends/family that agreed to be in it! We did pay them for their time, but if you can't pay them, I'd see if they would be up to doing it for free! You never know unless you ask!

@@nickjjoyce thanks for getting back, I appreciate it! That’s awesome that your friends helped you out. I might need some new friends who like the outdoors as much as me😂 thanks!
