Unfortunately, the footage is very shaky at the beginning because I wasn't prepared that unpacking some plants would lead to a rescue operation ^^

You're so lucky to get free Blue Dream shrimps! And they're lucky to have been shipped to you since some people might not appreciate or want them, they definitely could have had a different outcome.

That is so true. I was so excited when I saw them even though they are not that expensive.

Thank you so much. I did that because it was much easier to remove the string algae this way. It also adds some fresh water before adding the shrimps :)

Amazing editing! They feed on cucumber alone?

Thank you so much. Mine mostly feed on the biofilm that grows on all surfaces especially the leaf litter. Every now and then I give them a small piece of vegetable or shrimp pellets. But as there are not that many of them I don’t have to feed them often.

@@glassyGREEN_ do you know how much you spend a month to maintain this kind of aquarium?
@glassyGREEN_
@glassyGREEN_ 10 ай бұрын
Nearly nothing. The only thing that costs something is power for the light. I do little water changes maybe every 2 months which is possible due to my low feeding and overplanting. Due to my spare feeding the box of shrimp pellets I bought will probably last forever. Leaf litter is also quite cheap if you buy it and the cucumber or spinach leaves I give them from time to time are just kitchen scraps.

How long did you cycle for?

I think it was 10 days. I added starter bacteria and old substrate which allowed me to reduce the time.
