I finally returned to game design, and within a very short period of time, I managed to create a playable prototype, with rules, logo, and even some art work. I hope to have this released to the public by the end of the month (after I create a better version with superior graphic design).
Kthonic Descent is a narrative solo journaling rpg about a hero (or villain) who descends into the darkness, be it a dungeon or an ancient ruin, or perhaps the subterranean world beneath their sleepy village, to complete a Quest. It is a world-building, and character-building exercise, fit for fantasy and sci-fi, and even horror- anything can happen, it’s up to you to flex your creative muscles.

Can I use this to play a solo rpg using journal rpg?

It is a solo journaling rpg, yes. But it isn't designed for any other kind of rpg systems. It's very light, using a simple ruleset I made. It's more like writing exercises. So if you wanted something to help you play rpgs solo, I would look at another system or game.

Crossing sci-fi and fantasy doesn't work for me. Star Wars is science fantasy ( I mean the Jedi are really space wizards ). Dune is too way out for me .
