I enjoy the premise. It's basically a reframing of the Eve 6 Blink cover where (I'm assuming) Alex didn't want his awesome cover with (what amounts to) parody vocals. As much as I've always got a laugh out of how Tom would sing anything, this would probably be more appealing to a wider audience. An idea that I think would be fun (but more complicated): a 50/50 split of the two bands or one musician/vocalist from 3 different bands. Regardless, I love these really creative covers. It really showcases how well Alex knows music that he can apply an individual's style to someone else's work.
