Does It work with Windows XP or 98? Also would be awesome if you can use something like archlinux instead (making a live Linux distro requires extra packages, this method DOES NOT)

@@skysuperblock2204 Windows XP might work if you install a vhd driver. Windows 98 wont work since it's not compatible with the firadisk driver. I don't think this is possible with Arch, as it doesn't support the firadisk driver. However, distro's like Ubuntu with a graphical installer are already running inside a live environment.

@@TheWindowsHero But this enviroment IS pretty límited. Also i Saw Linux instances run vía RAM no drivers needed. So rn i am getting File Not Found, BUT! i think It may be the boot sector maybe just point It to the boot file?? Anyways i am VERY new to the bootloader grub4dos. Will try to run Linux somewhere in the future do.

​@@TheWindowsHero Windows XP may work, someone GOT Windows Server 2003 or so running which is XP too, might as well give It a shot also wondering if a Game like really small that IS made on Unity like baldi basic (classic for 32 bit support) Will run i cant give It a shot because i dont have legacy machines

@@skysuperblock2204 It depends on the ram that the system has. And it will run bad because no graphics driver is installed. However, very small games might work.

If you want to burn a DVD on any Windows version Live CD and running it on real hardware, you shouldn't install VMware tools

same for me, when I customize windows, I run sysprep once after installing updates (because integrating update isn't install completely), vmware tools will cause problem and it leaves it yellow triangle things in devmgmt (device manager)

If you read the textbox, you can see that it says that the changes get wiped. That means nothing gets saved, so the programs are gone too. Why is everything getting wiped? Because it's stored on a ram disk. And ram gets wiped on each reboot, all the data including the ram disk is gone. It just loads a copy of my iso into the ram disk.
