I can confirm that this method works extremely well! I started doing this 6 or so months ago without really knowing it. Focusing on the content I know that has a lot of search volume then writing really good content in that area.

@@topmastering3139 Always use metrics from Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Never rely on the "Search Volume" stat from different research tools. I have articles that bring in 3K visits a month but show up as a super low search volume in different tools. You can look in Google Search Console to see the # of impressions for an article. You can then determine if it's worth it to rewrite it or not.

I was getting discouraged because I was only getting 250 - 400 views per month per post. I realized you need to DO SEO & readability. I am taking the 24. I will get to 1000 per post. and my blog was just one long page. Because of you guys I am working it. Not just passively uploading content. See you all in the 24

Great video, I seem to remember the boys saying that changing too much on a blog post will affect its ranking. Is a rewrite a complete rewrite and you have to go through the ranking process again with google? What sort of percentage can you change or add too a blog post without it negatively affecting your ranking?

It's not like that, tweaking it just to add a preposition after a month wouldn't make sense and doing such unnecessary tweaking would make Google drop you but when you revamp your content for the good where you provide depth and great experience then in that case Google will give u a push.

Ok so if i want to scale up past that 150-200 blogposts (weather in a new blog or the same one) but i got to keep working on that old content, how do i do that? Do i hire someone to do that? If so i need to teach them and it sound complicated, but maybe I'm wrong. Or do i just leave it or give it very little time just for the most important revamps? Maybe should i keep going slowly targeting bigger keywords?

So I'm currently 3 months into blog #2 and it's very niche. My first blog is a lifestyle blog about 5 years old and is multi-topic. The problem I have is that in the 5 years that it's been up I think my top post has maybe had 1.7k views. And while I didn't do keyword research for the first year or two I definitely did for the remaining posts on my blog and targeted low comp keywords. Is it a lost cause or do you think it's worth reworking posts with this method.

Any tips for an actual SEO website? I'm testing several things currently, however all the long-tail keywords and concepts I've checked (be it through Google's auto complete or otherwise), already have a lot of competition. Basically moz, ahrefs, yoast... And there's no way to compete with these guys for the first positions obviously. I've thought of trying to broaden my blog section and cover more "general marketing tips / tactics, etc." However, in the end the page should be about SEO / Google Ads so how do you think that would do? It's interesting how I can help my clients to rank better for their content but can't think of a way of doing the same for my site 🤔

What if your blog has multiple categories with lots of the same sub categories, ie: dog 1, dog 2, dog 3, then the sub-categories for each would be, health, sleep, care, grooming etc. Would you concentrate on one dog and its sub-categories. OR dog 1-4 and stick with 1 sub-category??? it just posts within "Health"

When you talk about the number of posts we have on our blogs, does it mean that we can delete the posts that aren't bringing any or too little traffic so Google considers our site is more relevant in global terms? Or would that be a waste of time? Would it be better to leave those posts there even if they're not bringing any traffic?

I think there's a case for deleting content that's really not performing at all. That said, if a post brings in 50 or even 25 pageviews per month, there's a case for keeping it. I'm just not going to worry about keeping it up to date. I'll focus my attention on those top performing posts and those with high potential.

As a former student, I am amazed at the value you provide to new internet marketers. This battleship analogy to going back and adding more value to your former post that is ranking on Google s 1st page is gold. My question is since we start a response post and stable post similar to a pillar post with the same type of recipe of a pillar post, is the goal to eventually develop the older ranking response post and stable post into pillar post to keep them up to date with the competition? I'm no them, but I would say don't give up! I started my first blog when I was 9, and if I had kept up with it, I would be rich by now. I had almost 90k views, and that's a lot for a child. But I gave up, because when we're young we want everything to happen NOW and we jump from one idea to the next. But it doesn't work like that if you want a sucessful business!
