What a joy it was to come across the album "Comfort" by Leon Guallart. I was impressed by the packaging, and the vinyl. When I played the album for the first time, it was a whole new experience. Leon has really developed his own style and created a unique sound, mixing cinematic elements, and songwriting. Here is an interview I did with him, where I asked him to share more about the concept of the album and why it was important to make his music physical, releasing it in vinyl formate. Lovely interview which sparked a few memories! Referencing his grandma's hands reminds me of the Bill Withers track . Barcelona is a place my sister once lived, while his piano soirees call to mind Chopin's Parisian recitals. And my mother used to sing Blue Moon.

Aloha MonieMuse, Such a awesome interview. Wow! All the way from Spain. What would you say his influences were growing up ? Is this considered ambient with Vocals? From what I heard sounds really mellow. Hopefully his 2nd Pressing is a different color Vinyl , that way their be value I. The first Pressing limited to (300). . I enjoyed this interview. That’s a great idea for his next vinyl run to have a different color. Yeah his genre of music is kinda hard to pin down, ambient, indie. Discogs says “country, world” lol which isn’t right at all.

Do you have that on cd for when your away from the house say for a walk ? I agree with him a cd/vinyl reminds of a book you have to use your brain and that's the way the artist wants us to listen to music the whole album not skipping tracks. I saw the grammy's tonight I still think both of us know more about Music than Trevor a few questions so JZ won what was going to be nominated as a new category given by Dr. Dre hip hop whatever one of the things Jz was saying is that music is opinated , not who's better than who if you ask me sports cards are opinion no wrong way to collect but music is different.. Miley Cirus won 2 awards, Taylor swift 2 , Bilie Eyelish won an award and the New artist was also saying the same thing Music is based on opinion no bad music meaning no music is better than other music. when they did the memoirm they did a band member of Wings, the association, Smiths Gorton Lightfoot they put up Melanie and I was thinking of you!!! 1. who's bigger and better JZ or Iron Maiden? 2. they say hip hop started out in 1973 can you think of any bands ,? 3. which album do you think is better Judas Priest either Turbo or Ram it down or Metal Chrch's debut? 4. which do you think is better Taylor Swift's best album or Kiss's worst Carnival of souls? Taylor swift's best album or Judas Priest Ram it down? 5. . same question Taylor Swift her best album or Slayer south of heaven?

I meant to ask him if his album is available on cd, his music is great to check out, thank you for taking the time to watch the interview. Oh so awesome to hear they mentioned Melanie ❤️❤️❤️, I just found two more of her albums I’ll share next week. So many great questions, I’ve realized KISS fans are crazy about KISS and Taylor Fan are crazy for Taylor 😂. Can’t really compare different genres, kinda hard. Grammys always felt like grown up music and it’s so strange it’s now those who were once young now in the lead. Time sure flys! I thought milys song was great too, glad she got her award.

@@MonieMuse 1. I say depending upon the area your in depends who's bigger more fan base well known. Iron Maiden is way better than JZ 2. I don't know any wasn't 1973 based on the lighter artist like Olivia Newton John and others? 3 I like Turbo better but I heard Metal Church has the better album 4. Although i'm a Kiss fan i'm not a fan of that album But I would take Carnival of souls over her album same for Ram it Down 5. Not a fan of Slayer at all but I would that album over Taylor Swift's best album.
