Epic intro, and amazing talent! The presentation is also really nice, everything from the artwork , the humor, the timing,... so well thought through and perfectly executed. New fan 👍

why you use toon boom just as preference?
@fgxstudios6174 жыл бұрын
Wow Chris! I'm just blown away. This is is incredible. I'm almost afraid to ask how long did it take to put all of this together especially since you have to scrap your previous idea. Also, where exactly did you use Character Animator because it looks like you worked only in Toon Boom for your animations, but I could be wrong. Unfortunately I don't have that kind of time to learn blender but that is definitely worth looking into for future projects. I really appreciate the workflow breakdown and the creative way you did it. I wouldn't change anything about this. FANTASTIC JOB! My Wife and I are working on something in CH right now and we're hoping to get your feedback on it when we release it. Keep up the great work Bro!
@ChrisOVEMERY4 жыл бұрын
FrancoisGrphx thanks alot!! Well the Ch parts are actually all the dialogue-parts. So theres no Ch in the actual intro. Just Ae, Ps, Tb & blender. But all the me talking to a mike are Ch. Also when I run and shoot is a Ch head put on a toonboom body. So theres alot pf mixing going on here and there. Best of luck on your project, Ill make sure to check it Out

Very cool tutorial. I’m very new with no training. I recently downloaded Adobe CC. Quick question. When you import your frame sequence into After Effects-is the sequence completed(tweaking aside)? And your basically using After Effects to bring everything together?
@ChrisOVEMERY4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, exactly. The thing I need to do is just adjust the framerate on the sequence. I often work in 12 fps on frame by frame and when imported into AE its by default set to 30 (and therefore also goes way too fast) I'm probably gonna do a video on this subject

KillerPink Art Its really good! So good I even think its worth it. BUT, you can kinda do the same stuff in animate in youre on a budget (and already go with cc)
@KANDYMANIAC4 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, do you animate on twos? Or at 15fps?
@ChrisOVEMERY4 жыл бұрын
heyyy John. Generally its some frame by frame stuff thrown in on twos

Chris OVEMERY I’ve been loving your art and work flow. Do you use any other more obscure software or tools? Have you ever heard of DAIN? DAIN is a depth aware ai that uses similar machine learning as a deep fake. But what it’s for is for drawing in missing frames in low frame rate film or animation. I’ve been doing research into AI for for creative purposes. And DAIN is one that I’ve been sufficiently impressed by. It’s able to fill in intermediate missing frames taking a 15fps piece of footage or animation up to 60fps if needed. It and ebsynth are the two biggest ones that have got my attention for dynamically converting video and animation style and aesthetics. github.com/baowenbo/DAIN

@@KANDYMANIAC wow that looks really badass. Not sure its for me right now as theres a roughness to low fps animation that I kinda like. Could totally just be me being nostalgic.. But I will for sure look into this technique in the future. Thanks for the tips!
