wow, this is so useful. I think it helps specially when mastering after limiter to check if the sound has really been improved aside from only being louder!

Great Tip! That's a New Years resolution for me, to brush up on short cuts. Cheers.

just a quick tip you might not know shift s is the hot key to solo selected track if you have two channels selected in pro tools one soloed the other not soloed and you do shift s it will basically switch them so you can do a real quick AB.

Hello. 3:38. i don't quite get it, how it supposed to add distortion, even if i increase the Input gain, when settings of distortion plugin is 0.03%. Can i increase distortion in camelCrusher as well or that way i will ruin the sound? thanks

OK, what about gain compensation for EQ plugin ? Could you explain how to make that ?

Very interesting, gotta start trying it.

bro I don't get it cause at the end u have to pull out the limiter so it isn't a "Automatic Gain Compensation" tell me if im wrong

So the peaks changed and even out becouse of adding distortion ? i didn't know distortion can have that behaviour :O

You should make a comparison between how the Camel Crusher plug sounds adding the distortion on it's own mechanic vs. feeding more of the signal in with the gain plug-in. It's possible in many cases that the control on whichever plug-in of choice is doing something more than just adding input signal when raising it's built-in knob. If not an actual test of this, I simply wonder what you think on the matter. Thanks as always!

I actually wanna see this too.

Yeah, I am looking for something with a "Variable Peak Output based adjustment" as well.
