Justin, I just ran across this on You Tube. Just a shout out to say that I have always admired your channel. It was the inspiration to get me into mixing and the lessons you taught are still with me today. You are a great guy and your channel was way ahead of its time.

Very good video. Been using this for a while and did not really know all the features, for example the saturation didnt do much and now i know why. One thing i like is not seeing what it does, it forces you to go by what you're hearing and not letting your eyes to guide you.

Hello. 3:38. i don't quite get it, how it supposed to add distortion, even if i increase the Input gain, when settings of distortion plugin is 0.03%. Can i increase distortion in camelCrusher as well or that way i will ruin the sound? thanks

You should really be using the 2:1 button for this kind of effect, the only api product that offers this. it changes the way your audio hits the transformer. Much better in this type of use. Just my opinion and experience.

There is no level matching when you turn on the plugs so of course it would sound better to us louder. Thumbs down, not a very good tutorial

I think you can compete with mastering engineers. I've had masters that honestly haven't been good lately. If you have basic analog gear, good taste and use ur ears properly, you can compete. There is the Rupert Neve MBP II, which is amazing! That and a good stereo Eq and you are ready. Cheers!

I hear another problem here. Strong ringing (whistle) at 882Hz in 2nd chord 4:35 and 777hz in 3rd chord 4:47. just listen. Maybe even bigger problem:)
