This is one of your all time best, Chris. Just one Redshift suggestion: If you put a Redshift object tag on the cloth object, go to the Geometry tab, Override and Enable in the the Tessellation section, you're cloth will look the same in the editor view panel but will render smooth in the Redshift Renderview. You won't have to keep moving it in and out of a Subdivision Surface.

I love that all 30 min ideas develop into 3 hours of exploring. You are awesome Chris, thanks for doing this! I just had a scene that needed advanced cloth interaction with high poly animated meshes, I had to move into Houdini to get it done, I tested everything you did here but it was just to slow with weird jitters, but fair to say it was a really hard solve even for Houdini and Marvelous Designer just crashed :P

I watched all to three tuts such good info thanks Chris and also many more on KZbin but couldn't figure out a good way to have cloth dynamics with rigid body such as dropping a ball or any hard surface object onto soft cloth. Would love some tips on this (I know they are different engines) 👍

The concepts can be applied with out using signal but theres a part 1 and 2 w no plug-ins required 👍
