i really appreciate how it wasn't quite working the way you'd like around the 11:20 mark, and you actually showed that and showed how you would troubleshoot it. so many tutorials just show stuff that is perfect/ideal conditions and works exactly as intended on the firs try, and that's rarely actually how the end user experience is haha. Thanks!

Do you have an option for an step section horizontal and vertical like you can have in architecturel programm like ArchiCAD, Revit, eg? Here you can make a section only along a line
@Thesketchupessentials7 жыл бұрын
Do you mean having multiple section cuts active at once to cut an object both horizontally and vertically? The only way to have multiple cuts in SketchUp that I'm aware of is to have the different cuts within separate groups of geometry. You might be able to rotate your section plane to achieve the look you're looking for. Thanks for watching!

Is it possible after 32 scenes to add a new feature for a couple of scenes and then take it away again? without it effecting the other scenes.
@Thesketchupessentials5 жыл бұрын
Might be a little tricky, as you'd probably have to go back and turn your new object's visibility off in the first set of scenes manually. Maybe put it on a layer that was already off in those scenes?

Is that house just a shell or is it a complete floor plan inside? Wow I would love to see how you modeled it from ground up! Is there anything on the net that shows more stuff like this? Thanks for the videos.
@Thesketchupessentials8 жыл бұрын
Hi there - this is actually a model I downloaded off the 3D warehouse - there's hundreds of house models in there. However, there's not a lot to modeling something like this - the trick is to get your floor plan laid out first so that the base of your building is the right size, then you can model the interior and exterior from there. You could start with a process like the one I talk about in this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqWcZqB8eNKegs0 - Thanks for watching!
