This video shares my process on a section I had to create for the postgrad program I'm currently enrolled in. I hope you find this workflow interesting and if you've got any questions, drop them down in the comment section.
If you want to level up on your representation skills, check out our course about plans here: learnupstairs.com/courses/cre...
The same technique used to create plans can be used to create any 2d drawing! Sections, elevations, and so on...
Here's the elevation tutorial I mentioned at the end of this video:
• Architectural Elevatio...
Also, if you want to learn more about the postgrad I'm enrolled in, here's the link for more info: escoladacidade.edu.br/pos-gra...
It's a hybrid course taught in Portuguese and based in São Paulo, but is often lectured in Spanish and sometimes in English depending on the bimester curator.
A portion of this video was sponsored by Milanote.

the interior glow and subtle shadows make a huge difference. Those small changes and details create an amazing final product

I know right? It's all about the small details 😎 And I've noticed that that works just as same for renderings or other types of architectural drawings/images

I personally think the watching process is more interesting than looking at the final product. Also I can learn more from the process than just admiring an image.

That's so good to hear, thanks for the feedback Ayşe! I also like to watch videos that talk more about the process, but I didn't know if people felt the same. I've got some other videos on production already, but I'll try to bring more of the drawings I created these past 2 months.

I would love to see the workflow process at cleaning a section image generated from Sketchup, Revit, etc. I really think it´s so helpful since i´m a kinda new interior design student and I don´t get any help from my teachers to discover a workflow, since they say u have to make ur own way. But I have no idea how to do that! I feel like making sections and blueprints at AutoCAD, and then make the 3D process at Sketchup, adding up making the physical mockup takes way a lot of time. Thank u for ur videos, I recently discovered your channel and I´m learning a lot!

Hey Ari Citsad, welcome to the channel! I'm glad you found the videos helpful. Now regarding the cleaning up process, unfortunately, it does not make it into an entertaining youtube video. I'm always balancing helpful and interesting/catchy videos so that I can also fit into youtube's algorithm. I hope you understand. But cleaning up a drawing exported from Revit/Archicad or even Sketchup has no secrets really. It's all about using the Direct Selection Tool (shortcut A) in illustrator to pick the elements that you want to delete.

Fala Manuel!

Good video as always a clean and beautiful Section !!...but its not Renzo Piano Style, its just typical style that used to be in use by many Architects of that Generation. Renzo Piano style is different now than before due to his co-workers/Collaborators...

dude with all the respect, but Renzo Piano dramatically highlights SOIL, on which the building STANDS, and secondly, all the human beings in his sections are actually related to the building's program, they are not just placed randomly. These are the 2 factors which make Renzo Piano - Renzo Piano.
