I love the teal colors and the beach-inspired shapes. You're just so creative and willing to try things - way to go! I have used cardboard letters, but not with paint directly. Used a pen or pencil to trace and then filled in or around (too long ago to remember specifics) without the stencil in place. With plastic stencils I've always used an actual pouncing brush - either bristle or foam - but a specific shape. Hope this helps. xo

Ooh, love that idea too of using the paper stencil to trace around then paint. Might have to give that a go at some point. That would be perfect on homemade letters or something. Now you've got my wheels turning, thanks! Funny you mention the brush, thought I had some foam stenciling brushes but they disappeared 🤷♀️ Regardless, all an experiment anyway 😁 Thanks so much! ❤

Woah! Total chameleon colors!! I'm wondering if your trick for avoiding bleeding of colors under tape would also work for stencils. Do you think it would just cause the stencil to stick? It was fun watching you experiment. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

I thought about that mid way through - using the painting trick - but figured it might get tricky with the pattern as the base coat. But, this was an experiment so nothing says I can't give it another go to see if that works 🤷♀️ Thanks for the suggestion! And thanks for watching 🥰
