It is one or the other even with impact pinned. Anybody else know? Thanks. Do like that you switch it up with DAW other than Ableton.

@@Daviddosi as an ex-fl studio user, it's sliding notes for me..... That's easy and better in fl.....and there is no limit in FL for the interval of slide... In Studio one...I can only go 1 wholestep....maybe 2...the pitchbend is not that good.. Fl smokes it here...
@eman08285 жыл бұрын
@@AshishSinghPaL777 Nope. The problem is you have snape to grind engaged in Studio One. Just unselect snap to grind and you can freely move notes and stems around precisely. Studio One is way ahead of the game. Nothing beats its work flow I promise you that and this is comming from a Sonar and Protools user. FL still seems to be more or a beat making program than a real DAW. I stopped using FL in 08.
@AshishSinghPaL7775 жыл бұрын
@@eman0828 i think you didn't get what I was saying... I am not talking about sliding tracks in the arranger.... Instead....about note sliding....like going from note C to G by sliding... It's damn easy on fL.... studio one doesn't has that, you can only go like C to D with its pitchbend option... You used fl in 2008? It has come a long way since, anyway I still use and love Studio one. Best daw ever, except the pitch bending part😅
@eman08285 жыл бұрын
@@AshishSinghPaL777 Who bends notes that far up a scale? I don't. I still have outboard hardware as I still own a Yamaha Motif ES, Fantom XR and my trusty MPC 5000. I rarely need to bend notes a whole octive or more. FL is not even a real DAW as it sucks in terms of vocal production. I don't like the mixer. Nothing like Sonar, Pro-tools or Studio One in terms of professional multi track recording and editing.

its not that hard just read the manual and watch videos. I like to use it how i normally do and if i run in to a problem i seek the manual or the forums you will find your answers because the community is decent. there is always a learning curve even for something like garageband which is one of the easiest daws to get started on. there are so many features in s1 that i dont use but they are there if i need them. just learn the basic of recording first if you are a true beginner :)

watch out for pattern duplication. I've found that it creates a new set of patterns and if you make an additional variation, it'll only appear in either the old one or the new one, it's only attached to the copy you made it in. i.e. for every 'duplication' you now have a new set of variations to keep track of that look very similar to the one it was duplicated from. Repeating the loop and adjusting the variation in any of the repetitions allow you to maintain only a single set of variations. ...at least that's my finding thus far..
@pevce473 жыл бұрын

It would be awesome if: When you swap pads, the notes in drum editor also swap (as in Maschine) That way you can throw samples to teh pads, record notes and sort the pads later. Currently it is no that easy as in Maschine, Ahh and something else, there is NO UNDO/REDO in Impact XT ! :(
